Models Models Everywhere....!!

As a portrait photographer you try and be varied. When I started out progressing my photography career from amateur to professional, I spent a lot of time working with professional models testing out different lighting techniques, angles, cameras and lenses. I got to work with some of the most amazing stylists, MUA’s, and models. It broadened my experience and I always had so much fun creating new storyboards every week to plan and prep for! Although TFP Model work is fun and stylish and gets a lot of attention on social media, it doesn’t always pay very well. I believe a lot of us do it to information gather, network and progress in our skills simply! Thankfully I had the pleasure of being published nationally and internationally in some well know fashion magazines which really made it all worth while, and gave the models something to add to their portfolio!

It sounds like i am being slightly negative, but not at all, as a portrait photographer, there is a sheer enjoyment in working with new people all of the time! Although my focus now has turned to my studio for family portraiture and destination photographer for weddings/elopements, I will always have a special place in my heart for model work, and hence why I will always keep Boudoir portraiture packages as part of my price list. I just cant let it go that easily!
